Meals on the Roof Fundraising Activity

Raising the Roof!
As all are well aware, efforts are ongoing to raise the money required to replace the church roof.  There will be considerable activity on this front going forward, and we have started a new and fun initiative that will provide everyone with an opportunity to participate.  Groups of parishioners will prepare and offer for sale food items and/or meals for sale in our parish hall.
People will be welcome to stay and eat or to take the food home to eat later.  Funds generated from the sale of meals will be donated to the Raising the Roof Fund.

One group will be featured each week until December.  A schedule is being developed and there is still room for your group or community to become involved.
On Sunday October 27, meals from the Amazing Philippine Food Traditions were sold following the 11:00 mass and generated $1660.00 for the Roof!   Two weeks later, the KofC Pancake breakfasts generated another $1,000!  On Sunday November 24, the Philippine community came together again and raised more than $1700.00
Following many amazing segments of this fundraising program, we were forced to stop by the Territorial response to the COVID 19 pandemic.   We will rise again!    Our community-building, fund-raising, program will continue just as soon as we can.

 Stay tuned and stay safe!

***Go to the PHOTOS tab for more details***

Several ways to Participate!
  1. Organize a group of people to prepare meals for sale and schedule your group for one weekend.
  2. Make a plan to include food from the weekly sales in your Sunday dinner each week.
  3. Challenge another group to see which community within our parish can generate the greatest sales.
